Introduction
The College of International Education at Minzu University of China is dedicated to providing Chinese language and cultural programs for international students in MUC. We offer programs year-round, with study durations of one semester or longer. The Spring Semester generally runs from early March to early July, while the Fall Semester runs from early September to early January of the following year. Students are placed in classes at beginner, elementary, intermediate, or advanced levels based on their Chinese proficiency. The Chinese language curriculum includes Comprehensive Chinese, Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. Additionally, students can elect to take courses such as folk dance, Chinese ethnic musical instruments, calligraphy, painting, paper-cutting, martial arts, and HSK intensive training.
Generally, Chinese language courses are scheduled for 20 hours per week over an 18-week semester. Students who fulfill all course requirements will obtain official transcripts and certificates of completion at the end of the semester. Please note that this program does not offer a credit certificate.
Beyond their coursework, international students can participate in various cultural immersion activities and interact with Chinese students in MUC, to experience a colorful campus life with the integration of multi-ethnic culture.
